Michael has been interested in filmmaking
since his grandmother
gave him a used 8mm movie camera for Christmas
when he was twelve. Unfortunately, at that
age, he lived in such impoverished conditions
that he could rarely ever afford to buy film.
In his twenties, Michael began discovering
the medium of digital video. However, most
of his work during this period was unfocused
and incidental
as his creative drive was focused more on becoming
a musician.
At the age of 38, he finally reconnected
with his initial interest in filmmaking.
Digital
video
had advanced so much by this time and his financial
resources were much more plentiful, so he
decided to pursue the craft with serious interest.
It wasn't long after he'd started that he realized
that this is where he should have been all
along. |
